5 min leftover bread recipe for breakfast

If you hate food waste, and if you hate eating stale bread dipped in coffee before going to work like me, here is a very simple recipe that can change your breakfast. It is an easy way to use leftover bread within a few minutes. For weekends, I recommend you my “vegan pain perdu recipe” -> coming soon !

Ingredients

  • Leftover bread
  • Homemade jam (this time i used quince jelly)
  • 1 banana
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Toast the leftover bread (trick: if it is too dry, you can wet the bread with water and toast it in the oven at 180°C or 350°F until the bread is not wet anymore)
  • Add a tiny amount of jam on hot bread
  • Add slices of banana
  • Add some sesame seeds
